Architecture at zero

Concept
For the location of this site, it has always been related to the San Francisco Bay. In other words it has always been related to “the water” of San Francisco Bay. We set our goal to “Use up” this seawater as permanent resources.
we set with two more goals below; 1. Using up water as resource including seawater and rainwater.   2. Creating a new entrance for the visitors coming from the sea.    3. Connecting the flow line of the area.
By achieving these three goals, Romberg Tiburon Center will be the place to know about the water of San Francisco Bay for the general publics and the place to tell about story of water on San Francisco Bay for the researchers.

The Architecture at Zero competition was conceived as a response to the zero net energy targets set out by the California Public Utility Commission (CPUC).
